Product applications

NatureMate Grow-Plex® G:

For lawns:
1) Apply in early spring at a rate of 10 lbs. per 1,000 square feet with a normal fertility program.
2) Apply in mid-summer and late fall at a rate of 5 lbs. per 1,000 square feet with a normal fertility program.

For flower beds and vegetable gardens:
Apply at a rate of one (1) lb. per 100 square feet. Incorporate into the top 2-4" of soil at time of planting.

For indoor plants:
Use one teaspoon for 9" or smaller pots, one tablespoon for 12" or larger pots. Broadcast on the surface, or incorporate in top 1-2" of soil. Apply every 3 to 4 months.

For mixing with compost and potting media:
Add 1/2 cup (1/4 lb.) per cubic foot. Mix well into compost and apply to gardens, flower beds and potted plants. (One cup = 1/2 lb. of NatureMate Grow-Plex G)

NatureMate® SeaMate

For lawns:
Apply at a rate of one half quart of Concentrate Solution in 10 gallons of water for every 500 square feet every 4 weeks beginning April–May and continuing through August–September for a minimum of 4 applications. Always water after application.

For flower beds:
Apply at a rate of one half quart of Concentrate Solution in 10 gallons of water for every 500 square feet. Apply through a hose end sprayer to the base of shrubs and bedding plants beginning in early spring. Continue every 4 weeks through normal growth period. Always water after every application.

For gardens:

Soil drench: Apply at a rate of one half quart of Concentrate Solution in 10 gallons of water for every 500 square feet. Apply to the base of all plants just after planting, then every 3–4 weeks until 30 days before final harvest. Always water every after application.
Foliar: Apply at a rate of 1 cup of Concentrate Solution in 10 gallons of water for every 500 square feet. Spray the plant foliage at first bloom and every 3–4 weeks during the normal growing season.

For indoor plants:
Mix 1 oz. (2 tablespoons) Concentrate Solution in one gallon of water. Apply to the soil weekly. Always water after every application.


SeaMate may cause staining to carpet and flooring. Take care not to over-apply, which could cause runoff.
